Allison Levine, PhD, NCC, CRC

Assistant Professor

Introduction

Dr. Allison Levine joined the Department of Counselor Education in Fall 2021. She also previously worked as an assistant professor of counselor education at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Levine completed her doctoral training at Michigan State University and maintains certification as a rehabilitation counselor, a nationally certified counselor, and temporarily licensed mental health counselor in Iowa. Dr. Levine conducts research on student assessment in counselor education as well as disability biases in employment. She is the Director of the Council on Research and Knowledge with the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association.
