Elizabeth Menninga is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Iowa. Menninga received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015, specializing in International Relations and Political Methodology. Her primary substantive research agenda focuses on the effectiveness of international mediation in intrastate wars. Other current projects explore the evolution of cooperation between combatants in civil wars.
