CSSI Workshop: Introduction to R

This workshop will discuss the basics of R programming. Participants will be introduced to the R interface, command syntax, R-script files, and basic functions (e.g., opening a dataset, summary statistics, merging multiple datasets, etc.). We will also discuss techniques to visualize data in R and estimate regression models. This is an introductory workshop appropriate for those with limited or no familiarity with R. Example code will be provided. For those wishing to download R to their computer here is a helpful guide (not required): https://rstudio-education.github.io/hopr/starting.html
