Methodology Workshops
CSSI Workshop: Introductory Time Series Analysis
Friday, April 25, 2025 1:00pm to 3:00pm
This two-hour workshop introduces time series methods and shows their utility for examining social science data. Topics that will be covered include stationarity, ARIMA models, ADL/ECM models, and a brief introduction to more advanced time series models.
Sara Mitchell, professor in the Department of Political Science, will run the workshop.

CSSI Workshop: Survival Analysis
Tuesday, May 20, 2025 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Survival analysis is a statistical method used to analyze and predict the time until an event of interest, such as death or failure, occurs. This workshop introduces participants to the fundamental concepts and techniques used to analyze time-to-event data.
Jon Davis, assistant professor in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health, will run the workshop.
