The Center for Social Science Innovation provides free, one-hour data and project consultations with the opportunity to extend at an hourly rate. Whether you need assistance with a particular software program, help with statistical analysis, or support with project design, our team has the resources you need.

Our experienced research services staff and consultants, including Masters and PhD-level graduate students from multiple disciplines, offer guidance on a wide range of statistical software and data analysis tools.

Software Support

Have questions about a specific program or software? CSSI consultants and staff are able to provide assistance to those utilizing Stata, R, Python, SPSS, ArcGIS, advanced programming in Qualtrics, and other survey platforms.

CSSI Workshop: Introductory Time Series Analysis

Friday, April 25, 2025 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Social Sciences Research Building

This two-hour workshop introduces time series methods and shows their utility for examining social science data. Topics that will be covered include stationarity, ARIMA models, ADL/ECM models, and a brief introduction to more advanced time series models. Sara Mitchell, professor in the Department of Political Science, will run the workshop. Register for the workshop here.

Survival analysis is a statistical method used to analyze and predict the time until an event of interest, such as death or failure, occurs. This workshop introduces participants to the fundamental concepts and techniques used to analyze time-to-event data. Jon Davis, assistant professor in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health, will run the workshop. Register for the workshop here.
