Write on Target is a writers' circle that provides a structured and distraction-free environment for faculty drafting social science research manuscripts for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Participants enroll for eight-week periods in which they will meet once a week for one and a half hours at the Social Sciences Research Building. During that time, participants will set small writing goals and work independently in quiet breakout workspaces. At the end of each session, participants will provide brief progress updates to the group.

How to Join
Participants are welcomed to our writing circles on a rolling basis. These slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants enroll for an eight-week period.
Our current groups meet at the following times:
- Thursdays, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. [Next available start date: August 27, 2026]
- Fridays, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. [Next available start date: August 28, 2026]
