Biography
An's research focuses on issues regarding postsecondary education, such as college choice, college access, college persistence, the impact of college on students, and degree attainment. Particularly, an has concentrated on the role of accelerated programs (e.g., dual enrollment) on academic performance, college readiness, and degree attainment. An’s work also considers family influences on students’ transition from high school to college.
