Duhita Mahatmya, PhD
Duhita Mahatmya is a Research Design Specialist at the Center for Social Science Innovation, where she provides research development and methodological support in collaboration with the Survey & Multimethodology Research Services team.
Duhita coordinates with the CSSI team, affiliates, and stakeholders to develop highly competitive, interdisciplinary research proposals. She also provides analytic and reporting support to the CSSI team and clients.
Duhita also holds an appointment as an Associate Research Scientist in the College of Education's Grants and Research Services Center. Since joining the College in 2016, she has helped secure over $10 million in external research funding (NSF, Department of Education, IES, SAMHSA) as a research methodologist or project evaluator. Broadly, her research uses an ecological systems framework to examine family, school, and community influences on positive youth development and social emotional learning.
