Mike Oie works as a data analytics specialist and is responsible for data management, analysis, and survey programming for projects at the center. He also oversees the planning and coordination of the center’s workshop and consulting services.

Mike provides survey programming expertise in a variety of modes and software, including WinCATI for phone surveys, Qualtrics for web surveys, and REDCap for general data collection. He is skilled in using Stata, R, SPSS, and SASstatistical software to clean and analyze project data and prepare reports.

Mike is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the Association of Academic Research Organizations (AASRO). He has a CoreXM Expert Certification in Qualtrics and has received formal training in R, SPSS, and SAS. 

Mike has been with the center since 2020. Before joining the CSSI, he supported research activities at Washington State University.
