Dawn Bower oversees the call center for the center’s research services and manages projects for researchers both within and outside of the University of Iowa.

With 10 years of experience at the center, Dawn hires, trains, schedules, and manages the center’s student interviewing and field staff. Dawn is highly involved with all center projects and collaborates with other project specialists regarding project-specific expectations, staffing needs, quality control measures, and technical support. In addition to managing the call center, Dawn provides project management support for a variety of client research projects including transcription, mail, data entry and phone projects.

Dawn is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations (AASRO). To stay current with the latest trends in survey research, she has attended AAPOR conferences annually for the past several years.

Prior to joining the center, Dawn was a supervisor, coach and mentor in a call center environment and worked in Patient Financial Services at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
