The Center for Social Science Innovation (CSSI) is thrilled to announce applications have opened for its new research incubation initiative CSSI Faculty Research Fellowship.
The fellowship program will support tenure-track faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) who are conducting social science research that is high-impact and advances their field forward.
Selected fellows will spend up to one academic year in residence at CSSI and will also be released from teaching one course in their home department. During their residency, fellows will be provided sufficient time, dedicated and quiet workspaces, and CSSI staff support to help develop their research.
Fellows will also receive a $1000 credit for CSSI’s survey and multimethodology research services, which include expertise in project management, survey development, transcription support, and research design.
CSSI is committed to supporting fellowship applications that demonstrate potential to grow into a grant proposal, published book, or major journal article, regardless of the applicant’s discipline, formal training, or methodological orientation.
The fellowships are funded by a partnership between CSSI and CLAS.
Applications are due by March 3, 2025.
