Biography

Ann Saba is the acting Communications Specialist for the University of Iowa's Injury Prevention Research Center. Ann has a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and a BA in Journalism from the University of Iowa. Her role includes disseminating injury research findings to practitioners, researcher, policy makers, and the public through publications, outreach activities, and website/social media channels. Ann was a policy fellow with the Safe States Alliance in 2017-2018 and serves on the Communications Committee of the Society for the Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR). She writes the UI IPRC monthly blog.
